Lakes Region Tea Party
NEXT MEETING: May 23th - 7:00 pm Moultonboro Library - Ovide Lamontange - Candidate for NH Governor - to speak!

Recently in Event Category

We have received an Alert from the NH TEA Party Coalition concerning our local politicians and what they are doing during their Congressional August Recess.

If you attend one of these townhalls that the NH TEA Party Coalition have listed, the folks listed will be wearing wearing their yellow t-shirts (similar to what you saw Doug Lamber and Skip Murphy wear at the last meeting) to identify themselves.

Thank you,

Webmaster

From the NH TEA Party Coalition:

This is the message we are sending out for attending Congressional  Town Halls during the recess.  Please pass it on if you know anyone or any group who is not on the eblast list.

Shaheen has dozens of these planned for towns all across NH!  Hodes is sure to have more, and Shea-Porter too even though we cannot find any for her right now.

Details:

Protest-BCDems-SurroundingTheDemSign1.JPG Today, a small group of TEA Partiers decided to counter-protest the local county (Belknap County here in NH) Democrats while they had their annual picnic - Congressman Paul Hode's wife Peggo was the guest of honor along with many other Democrat politicians that helped to raise the New Hampshire budget another 11% (after previously raising it an initial 17.5% from the previous budget).
Thumbnail image for Protest-BCDems-Elise.JPGWe can blame them (as well as a couple of Republicans) for a fouled up budget process.  Thus, on short notice, we decided to let them know that they will be watched and held accountable.
